School Community Organizers (SCO’s) SCO’s provide intervention via response when crises occur and/or are reported.  In all emergencies, the primary objective is to provide protection for all students, staff, and the public.  They also recruit men to get actively involved with the students, the school community and encourage their on-going participation in positive activities that contributes to the safety of the students, faculty, families and community. Safe Schools–Safer Communities:  the goal is to provide alternatives to students and community residents to resolve conflicts, violence and illegal drug use.  Through presentations and workshops at public schools and other youth functions, this program teaches young people about making responsible choices.
